Our club was formed by Youth worker Mr Dougie Powell M.B.E. in 1975, it is now run by Mrs Kate Bredin along with husband Mr Dave Bredin and cousin Caz Haward, they are assisted by Ewan Wilson, Josh Dow, Edward Lee and Jessie Hewes.
We are a non profit making club with any profits going back into the club to pay for new mats at a cost of £80each, to subsudise trips abroad and return hosting of our Dutch freinds, also we run our Annual club Championships free of charge. Everyone involved in the club gives up their time for free because they love the sport and the values of judo.
